About Camulodunum Speakers Club
We are an enthusiastic and friendly club of diverse individuals with a simple aim: to learn, and to share with others, the skills of public speaking and leadership. We always welcome guests and potential new members. Whether you would like to learn public speaking from scratch or need to polish your existing skills this is the right place for you.
A key element of our meetings, as with any Toastmasters meeting, is that all speaking is evaluated. Evaluation is a review of the way the speech was presented (not normally its content) and consists of finding those areas which came over well, alongside those areas which demonstrated a need for development. All evaluations are supportive and are intended to help speakers improve their speaking technique. It is not the role of club members to 'criticise' each other, the objective is to create an atmosphere where learning can be fully supported.

Please come along and give it a try. Meetings start at 7.15 pm on the second and fourth Monday of each Month. Members and guests tend to arrive by 7.05 pm in order to ensure that they are ready for the meeting which will start promptly.
